You can start your own Sub-Fund or make a donation to an existing fund.
Start a Tax deductible Sub-fundStart a sub-fund under the umbrella of Melbourne Community Foundation with as little as $10,000. Donors can name the sub-fund and make requests to the Board about how income is distributed. Sub-funds can be established in just 24 hours.
Donors can now establish a tax deductible sub-fund specifically for the purpose of educational scholarships and bursaries. Donors also have the options to remain completely anonymous and MCF will ensure complete privacy and discretion. Extension funds / Non tax deductible Sub-fundsDonors can also establish a non-tax deductible sub-fund with the Melbourne Community Foundation Extension Fund. Donations to the fund provides an opportunity for giving to a wider range of organisations and is ideally suited to bequests and corporate donations.
Donate to the MCF Community FundMake a tax-deductible donation to the MCF Community Fund. Grants from this fund are given to support MCF's community funding initiatives and for general charitable purposes. Distributions from this fund are determined by the Board.
