Our Scholarship Fund is a public fund that provides educational scholarships, prizes and bursaries. It is endorsed with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Donations to this fund are tax deductible.

Donors can fund a scholarship through the establishment of a separate MCF named philanthropic sub-fund.

The aim of the Scholarship Fund is to promote education by rewarding achievement in education and therefore encouraging achievement and greater effort in education. This is done by providing either monetary assistance or equipment.

Scholarship Fund Requirements

• a) recipients must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
• b) the scholarship, bursary or prize must be open to at least an entire state or territory of Australia or to a region of at least 200,000 people
• c) the scholarship, bursary or prize must promote the recipient’s education in either or both of the following: - a pre-school, primary, secondary or tertiary course;  - an overseas educational institution, by way of study of a component  of a pre-school, primary, secondary or tertiary course
• d) the scholarship, bursary or prize is awarded on merit or for reasons of equity
