In July 2006, the Australian Tax Office announced a new tax deductible fund for the provision of education scholarships, prizes and bursaries. MCF was quick to create the MCF Scholarship Fund, the latest addition of charitable giving products for our donors. This fund is one of the first to be established in Australia. Donors receive a tax deduction on the donations.

Scholarship sub-funds can be created or MCF donors with existing sub-funds can provide scholarships through this fund, in addition to their other charitable giving. The aim of the Scholarship Fund is to promote educational excellence by rewarding and encouraging achievement by students in educational institutions, at the pre-school, primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
