The Victorian Tapestry Workshop $30,000.00
Opera Australia $15,000.00
Fortyfivedownstairs $10,000.00 fortyfivedownstairs was established in 2001 to provide a versatile and interesting space for performance, exhibitions, forums and music. Situated in a former factory, and gallery, in Flinders Lane, fortyfivedownstairs offers a home for innovative, original performance in music, dance, drama and physical theatre. The Lieder Society of Victoria $2,500.00 Read a series of Grant Stories outlining just some of the valuable and innovative projects funded by MCF. Several of MCF's sub-funds have been set up for by not-for-profit (NFP) organisations looking to secure the future of their organisation and their work in the community, by starting to build an endowment. We are constantly building our research and knowledge for our donors and the broader philanthropic community, understanding current needs, emerging trends and the impact of government policies on the social, cultural and environmental fabric of our community. We also need to understand what works, what has lasting benefit and which organisations are likely to be most effective in addressing need, strengthening the community and preventing problems from emerging. |
